Unidentified youth jumps before train, dies

An unidentified youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train at Amritsar-Pathankot railway section here today.

The unidentified person first sustained serious injuries after he jumped before the Amritsar bound passenger train, a Government Railway Police official said here.

He was then taken to civil hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, he said, adding that the youth's identity is yet to be established.
