UP CM plans to set up sports academies in state

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today said that there were plans to set up sports academies in the state to promote "hidden talents".

The chief minister said that an atmosphere which promotes sports will be created in the state so that people from here could win medals in international tournaments.

"There is a plan to set up sports academies in the state to promote hidden talents and for taking them forward...the government is working in this direction," Adityanath said after presenting awards at a wrestling tournament in Chaturbanduari village under Unwan township.
