UP girl accuses neighbour of molesting her

A 22-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh living on rent here today lodged a complaint with the police that she was molested by her neighbour, following which police arrested the accused.

The victim, in her complain, said that she was molested by her neighbour yesterday, who learning that she is alone, entered her house in sector 55 here, police said.

When the victim started shouting and screaming for help, her brother and other neighbours gathered on the spot and handed the accused to the police, they said.

Ajay lived in the same house on rent, and hails from Partapgarh, UP, where the girl also belongs to.
 

The accused has been booked under relevant sections of IPC , police said, adding, further investigations are on.
