Uttar Pradesh government has asked the Kanpur district administration to identify a piece of land for the state's first Unani hospital in the city.
The Director, Unani has ordered to identity a piece of land in the city for the purpose, Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr Nirankar Goyal said.
"Government Inter college ground is being considered for the Unani hospital. The District Magistrate and other officers concerned will discuss and take decision on the matter on August 16," he said.
The 25-beded hospital would require 355 sq mt land and it would come up at a budget of Rs 60 lakh.
