Uttar Pradesh government today effected a major reshuffle in police department, transferring 50 IPS officials, including Superintendent of Police rank officers of over a dozen districts.
Shiv Shanker Yadav, who was attached to DGP office, has been posted as SP Jaunpur, whereas SP (intelligence) Meerut Swapnil Gamgain has been shifted as SP Amethi.
SP, DG headquarters Manoj Kumar Jha has been transferred as SP Ballia. SP (EOW) Kanpur Pushpanjali has been posted as SP Kanpur Dehat.
SP Auraiya Manoj Tiwari has been shifted to Bahraich. SP CB-CID Mohd Imran has been transferred as SP Lalitpur.
Commandant 34 PAC Prateep Kumar Mishra has been shifted as SP Bhadohi.
Deputy Commandant, 20 PAC, Baburam has been posted as SP EOW Kanpur. Meanwhile, ASP (EOW) Nageshwar Singh has been elevated as SP.
ASP, Agra, Ashok Kumar Tripathi has been transferred as SSP, Etah. ASP, Bahraich, Arvind Shushan Pandey has been made SP Human Rights.
SP, Farukkhabad Rajesh Krishna has been shifted to local intelligence, Meerut.
