In a bid to provide better work environment to police personnel, the Uttar Pradesh government will construct hostels in 45 police stations in ten districts, a senior officer said here.
The government has decided to construct hostels for policemen in 45 police stations in 10 districts, Principal Secretary (Home) Debashish Panda said in a statement.
He said that the government has alloted Rs 12.72 crore to police headquarters for this.
Panda said that the hostels with capacity of 12 each, would be constructed in Lalitpur, Moradabad, Bijnor, Hathras, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Mainpuri, Agra, Mathura, Jhansi and Etawah districts.
