UP govt transfers 5 IAS officers

In a minor reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government today gave fresh postings to five IAS officers, an official spokesman here said.

Director Information Rupesh Kumar has been posted as Special Secretary Power. Member UP State Highway Authority Ashutosh Niranjan has been given additional charge of Director Information, he said.

P Guru Prasad, who was on the waitlist, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer of UP Rural Road Development Authority.

J P Singh has been posted as Special Secretary Finance Department, whereas O P Verma has been posted as Special Secretary Higher Education.

Zuber Ali Hashmi has been posted as Special Secretary Urban Development.
 

In addition to this seven PCS officers have also been transferred.
