Five armed persons looted jewellery worth several lakhs and Rs 43,000 cash from a house after holding the owner hostage in Tarigava village here, police said today.
Ram Naresh was held hostage by Ram Ladete and four of his associates on the intervening night of August 4 and 5 after which they took the jewellery and cash, they said.
On his complaint, an FIR has been registered against the five in Kotwali Jaithera police station, they said.
Investigation is underway in the case, they said, adding that no arrest has been made so far.
