Uttar Pradesh medium-pacer Sudeep Tyagi has been included in Saurashtra's Ranji Trophy one-day team for the West Zone league starting in Ahmedabad on November 5.

Also inducted in the squad is seamer Siddharth Trivedi, who is facing a one-year ban in connection with the IPL 2013 match-fixing scandal.

"Jaydev Shah has been named captain of the 15-member squad (that) includes Team India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara by the selection committee that met yesterday," Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) media manager, Himanshu Shah told PTI today.

27-year-old Tyagi, who has played ODI for India, has decided to play for Saurashtra and has completed all the necessary formalities, Shah said, adding that Trivedi, who was banned for a year by the BCCI for breaching the board's anti-corruption code in IPL's 2013 season, has also been selected in the squad.

"Sitanshu Kotak has been appointed coach of the team," he added.
