Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today congratulated top rankers and successful candidates from the state in the civil services 2017 examination.
Rao congratulated Durishetty Anudeep from Metpally, who got the first rank, Koya Sriharsha from Khammam (sixth rank);
Gaddam Madhuri (144) from Mahbubnagar district, Surabhi Adarsh (393) from Kamareddy, Yedavelli Akshay Kumar (624), Balla Alekhya (721) from Pedapalli and Elthepu Seshulu (724) from Nizamabad district.
"The CM is happy that in the recent past Telangana candidates are coming out with flying colours in all the competitive examinations in the country," a release from Rao"s office said.
Rao has asked private coaching centres, which are doing a good job all over the country, to set up their branches in Hyderabad and other cities in the state, it added.
The results of the civil services examination were announced yesterday.
