US consulate officials visit Siliguri

Officials of the US Consulate General in Kolkata today visited Siliguri.

Consular officer in the US Consulate General in Kolkata, Julie Espinosa and principal commercial officer of the consulate, Jonathan Ward visited Siliguri, the gateway to the northeastern states to develop business, educational and cultural relations with North Bengal.

Ward expressed interests in tea tourism and timber in Darjeeling.

The US Consul General in Kolkata, Craig Hall had visited Siliguri in July and interacted with leaders of various organisations including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and north Bengal development minister.
