Veteran Congress leader Prabhakar Kunte no more

Kunte, who is survived by his wife, was not keeping well for quite some time and was being treated at home.
He was elected from Dharavi Assembly constituency and worked as the minister of state for housing in Shankarrao Chavan government in 1972.
Kunte had actively participated in the Quit India movement of 1942 and was even jailed by the British.
The veteran Congressman took part in the Samyukta Maharashtra agitation during 1955
