Ryan Reynolds has denied reports that he and wife Blake Lively have named their newborn daughter Violet.
There were reports that the Hollywood pair chose to name her Violet, according to E!Online.
"No that's not the name. I don't want to get into that but I don't know where that came from," he said.
The couple welcomed their first child together in early January and are yet to reveal their daughter's moniker.
The 38-year-old first time father said being a dad is amazing.
"The best thing about it-well, everything's great about it. The least impressive thing is the complete lack of sleep," he added.
