Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail System (VVPAT), which allows voters to verify if their ballots have been cast correctly, will be used in six Assembly constituencies of Haryana on the polling day on October 15.
The Election Commission has issued instructions regarding the use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) with VVPAT in Thanesar, Karnal, Panipat City, Sonipat, Rohtak and Gurgaon, Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Shrikant Walgad said today.
