Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn has revealed that the filming of 'Star Wars Episode 7' has begun.
The 71-year-old Disney chief said that everything is on track and they are almost done with the casting, reported Ace Showbiz.
Alan announced the news during a panel discussion in LA recently.

"We're actually shooting some of it now. We have a lot of them in place. We're just not completely done yet. Patience you must have," he said.
He said that it was challenging to get the script right.
"It's all about the screenplay. It has to be screenplay, screenplay, screenplay," he added.
The upcoming 7th film in the 'Star Wars' franchise is scheduled to release in the US on December 18th next year.
