Wendt India Q4 net declines 26% to Rs 2.03 crore

Murugappa Group company Wendt India has reported a 25.9% decline in its net profits at Rs 2.03 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014.

The Bangalore-based company had reported Rs 2.74 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year, Wendt India said in a statement.

For the year ending March 31, 2014, net profits declined 9.3% to Rs 11.66 crore from Rs 12.86 crore registered in the previous fiscal.

Total income from operations for the fourth quarter ending Mar 31, 2014, rose by 20.9% to Rs 29.60 crore from Rs 24.47 crore registered during the same period of the previous year.
 

For the financial year ending Mar 31, 2014, total income grew by 8.81% to Rs 110.09 crore from Rs 101.17 crore registered during the previous year.
