Western Railway (Mumbai) wins Rly Kabaddi Championship

Western Railway (Mumbai) bagged the 66th All India Railway men Kabaddi Championship defeating South Central Railway (Secundrabad) by 24-20 in the finals here at the Patliputra Sports Complex Indoor stadium today.

In the finals, with the start of the match Western Railway maintained their dominance in the game and led by 10-5 at the half time.

Veteran Ravi Kumar, Mahipal and Pawan collected valuable points for winning team with stunning raids.

Western Railway (Mumbai) got two lona, one Bonus and 2 Technical points while SCR Bagged one lona and five bonus points.

Earlier, SCR (Secundrabad) trounced Northern Railway (New Delh) by 25-6 and Western Railway (Mumbai) beat South Eastern Railway (Kolkata) by a close contest match 14-13 in their semi-final matches.
 

Later, East Central Railway (ECR) General Manager D K Gayen gave away the prizes to winners and runners team.
