Western, South Easter Railways emerge champions

Western Railway and South Eastern Railway claimed the men's and women's titles respectively in the 63rd All India Railways Table Tennis Championships here today.

In the men's final, Western Railway defeated South Eastern Railway to win the title.

Western Railway men's team was represented by Noel Pinto, Ravindra Kotheyan and Pankaj Vishwakarma.

Hosts SER tasted success in the women's section as they topped the league edging out North East Frontier Railway.

SER women's team was represented by Anindita Chakraborty, Pallabi Kundu, Runa Roy, Medha Maitra and Gargi Nag.
