A top health official of Rajasthan's Kota district who was allegedly threatened and abused by a BJP MLA, said tonight that he would take back his voluntary retirement plea after meeting state health minister Rajendra Singh Rathore who reportedly assured him of safety and security.
"I have decided to take back my application for conditional voluntary retirement (VR) and will apply to revoke the same on Monday," Kota CMHO R N Yadav said after meeting the minister tonight.
"I met our minister Rajendraji Rathore today evening at Jaipur and he has assured me and my family full security and safety," Yadav said.

Claiming that the minister has also assured him action on his complaint in the police station, Yadav said he has made up his mind to withdraw his application for conditional VR only after the assurance by the health minister.
Yadav further said he has also informed about his decision of withdrawal of conditional voluntary retirement application to the doctors' unions.
BJP had yesterday suspended its Rajasthan MLA Prahalad Gunjal, who was allegedly caught on tape threatening and abusing Yadav over the transfer of a male nurse after which the CMHO had sought voluntary retirement.
