Woman, 3 minor girls run over by train in Kerala

A middle-aged woman and three minor girls were run over by a train near Puthiyangady in the city outskirts today, police said.

Police, who suspect it to be a case of suicide, said the woman and the girls could not be identified so far.

Locals spotted the bodies on the track and alerted them around 7 AM, they said, adding information regarding the train and the time of the incident, could not be known immediately.

Investigation is on, police said.
