A 29-year-old Iraqi national has been arrested for allegedly raping a girl in South Delhi's Kalkaji area, police said today.
According to the police, Saif Mohammed was arrested on Thursday for sexually assaulting a woman who resides in his neighbourhood, police said.
"Saif Mohammed was a student at Jamia Millia Islamia. He was pursuing M.Sc and had been living in Delhi since the last several years," said a senior police officer.
"The woman reached us on Thursday and filed a complaint. We sent her for medical examination which confirmed rape following which the Iraqi national has been arrested," the officer said.
