A woman and her two children were charred to death when a two-storey structure located in Park Site area in suburban Vikhroli caught fire this afternoon.
Primary investigation revealed the fire was caused due to short circuit.
"The incident took place around 3.30 pm at Anandgargh Naka, in which a woman and her two children died. The blaze was apparently triggered by a short circuit," senior police inspector Rajendra Kulkarni said.
