A 65-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly possessing over two kg of cannabis in Kanachak area on the outskirts of Jammu city, police said today.
Phool Bhai, who hails from Chhattisgarh, was arrested last evening and 2.20 kg of cannabis was recovered from her possession, a police official said.
She was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act), he said.
Last year, her husband and son, identified as Jagan Lal and Tara Chand, were arrested with over four kg of cannabis, he said, adding that both of them were out on bail.
