Woman commits suicide after giving poison to son, daughter

A woman today consumed poison with her two kids in village Mudakalan in Pisawan area here, police said.

Jaidevi (26) consumed pesticides after giving the same to her son Shobhit (5) and daughter Jaishree (3) when she was alone in her house in the afternoon.

Later, she was rushed to hospital where she and her son died. The condition of her daughter was stated to be critical.

Police is probing the matter.
