Woman critically injured as house catches fire

A 36-year-old married woman suffered severe burn injuries after a fire broke out at her house in west Delhi's Vikaspuri area today.

The woman, identified as Ritu Duggal, was rushed to RML Hospital, where she is stated to be in a critical condition, said police.

The incident was reported around 3 PM after which two fire tenders, PCR, ambulance and disaster management teams were rushed to the spot. The cause of fire couldn't be ascertained yet, police added.
