A 55-year-old woman was killed today after being allegedly thrown off a motorcycle by two unidentified men who made an attempt to snatch her earrings, police said.
The incident took place when the woman, along with her son and grandson, was coming back from a prayer meet and upon reaching Kapurthala road, two unidentified men made an attempt to snatch her earrings, they said.
When the duo failed in their attempt, they allegedly pushed the woman off the bike following which she was taken to a hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, police said.
