Woman dies after suspected food poisoning

A woman died while three of her family members took ill after suspected food poisoning at Barsu village in the district, police said today.

The victims complained of headache and vomiting soon after eating kheer (rice pudding) yesterday and were rushed to a hospital.

The condition of three persons admitted to the hospital is serious, they said.

Police are investigating the matter.
