Woman dies of swineflu in Assam

A 25-year-old woman of Assam's Sonitpur district died due to swine flu in Guwahati today.

The woman was shifted from a private hospital in Biswanath Chariali in the district to Narayana Hrudalaya Hospital in Guwahati, District Surveillance Officer Dr Durlav Saikia said here.

This is the first case of swine flu death from Sonitpur district where three persons, including two Army men, have been affected by the disease, Saikia said.
