Woman found hanging in hotel room

A 20-year-old woman from Noida allegedly committed suicide today by hanging herself at a hotel room here, police said.

The woman identified as Sanjana was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the hotel by her friend on her return from the market, police said.

When she returned she found Sanjana dead, they said.

The duo had checked into the hotel located at Tyagi Road yesterday.

No suicide note has been recovered and the friend is being interrogated, they added.
