Woman jumps into well with daughter, both dead

A woman committed suicide this morning by jumping into a well with her two years old daughter at Malliala village, 50 km from here.

Police sub-inspector Kiran Kumar said the woman, M Sujatha (32), was unwell for a long time, and fed up with the illness, she took the extreme step.

At around 11 this morning she jumped into a well in a field with her daughter Vaishnavi (2).

Bodies were fished out and sent for autopsy. Probe is on.
