Woman, kid die in queue atop Tirumala; CM expresses grief

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed shock and grief over the tragic death of a woman and her one-and-a-half year old son in the temple queue line atop Tirumala this evening.

The chief minister spoke to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer M G Gopal over phone and inquired about the incident.

He directed the EO to take foolproof measures to ensure such incidents did not recur.
