Woman killed, 12 injured in accident

: A woman was killed on the spot and 12 persons injured, two seriously, in a car van collision at nearby Sathankulam vilakku on the Mandapam-Madurai road today, police said.

The 32-year-old woman was the occupant of the car.

All the injured have been hospitalised.
