Woman killed after struck by lightening

A 35-year-old woman was killed when she was struck by lightning in Krishna district while working in an agriculture field today, police said.

The mishap occurred when V. Rajeswari was working in the field in Pillangollapallem village, said Machilipatnam (rural) police station sub-inspector Ramakrishna.

Her body was taken to civil hospital for postmortem, police said.
