A 35-year-old woman and her parents were booked by Lallaguda Police here after her husband alleged that the trio had cheated him by "suppressing facts" during marriage.

A 40-year-old man in his complaint alleged that he was married to the woman in the year 2003. The couple consulted several specialists after the lady could not conceive.

"The reports of the doctors said that his wife is not fit to conceive," Lallaguda Police Station Sub-Inspector B Ramu said.

The man approached a local court which referred the matter to police. A case was filed yesterday against the woman, her parents and other family members, the SI said.

The complainant alleged that his wife's family members knew about the issue and with a malafide intention and to cheat they performed her marriage with him by suppressing the facts.

The SI said they (both the parties) have now compromised and the case will be closed in a next couple of days.
