Woman raped in border belt of Jammu

A married woman was allegedly raped by a youth in border belt of Akhnoor in Jammu district, police today said here.

The woman has lodged a complaint at Khour Police Station that a youth identified as Sanjay Kumar of Narayana-Pandwal village entered into her house when she was alone and raped her yesterday, police said.

On her complaint, a case has been registered, they said, adding the medical report of the victim is awaited.

A hunt has been launched to nab the accused, they added.
