Woman sets herself, 7 months-old daughter on fire

A 24-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide here by setting herself and her seven- months-old daughter on fire, police said today.

"Samtha poured kerosene on herself and her daughter and set themselves ablaze at her house in Chohtan area yesterday," police said.

Their neighbours rushed them to a hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead, they said.

The police were investigating the case.
