A 26-year-old man allegedly shot at his mother and brother over a petty issue at Kairana town in Shamli district, police said today.
One Waseem shot at his mother Zaitoon (60) and brother Naseem (25) as they failed to get him married yet, police said.
The two sustained bullet injuries were rushed to a hospital in serious condition, they said.
A complaint was filed by the accused's father, following which an FIR was lodged in the matter, they said.
Waseem has been arrested and the pistol used in crime was also seized, they said.
