Woman shot dead by brothers over property dispute

A woman was allegedly shot dead over a property dispute by her cousins, who also injured her daughter and mother, police said today.

The incident took place in Isanagar area of the district.

Eight-month-old daughter of the woman and her 50-year-old mother, who were injured in the attack, are admitted to the district hospital, police said.

Woman's husband Kamlesh has lodged an FIR against the two cousins.
