Workers buried alive while digging well in Ramanathapuram

Two workers were allegedly buried alive when a mound of earth caved in on them while they were digging a well at Kuthukal Valasai in this district today.

The victims Chinnasamy (30) and Palsamy (40) died after they were buried under the debris and sand, police said.

The bodies have been retrieved, they added.
