Youth arrested for raping minor girl

Raj Bir (19), a resident of Dhakia village and an undergraduate student, was arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl from a village in this district.

The girl was abducted from Khatavali village on the night of August 17 and was later recovered and medically examined yesterday.

Police registered a case against Bir on the complaint of the girl's mother.

Police said that Raj Bir kept the girl at an isolated place, near Dhakia village, where he allegedly raped her.
