Youth convicted for raping teenage girl

Additional District and Sessions Judge R C Diwaker also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on Bablu yesterday, who was held guilty under Sections 366 and 376 of IPC, prosecution sources said.

Father of the victim, had accused Bablu of abducting and raping his daughter at gun-point while she was on her way to a relative's place on April 24, 2010.

The victim was an 18-year-old college student from Bablaut Lank village here.
