Youth dies in road accident in Faridabad

A 21-year-old youth was killed when he was hit by a speeding motorcycle in the city, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when Deepak, a resident of Bukharpur village, was coming from Machgar village at about 8 pm when the speeding motorcycle hit him, they said.

The motorcycle was being driven by one Indrajeet.

The victim's father lodged a complaint with Ballabgarh police station accusing Indrajeet of rash driving, which lead to the death of his son.

A case has been registered and police is investigating the matter, said Investigating Officer ASI Surender.
