Youth dies in road accident; locals vent ire on police

Pawan was on a bicycle when the bus hit him on Kabba Road in the city this morning killing him instantly, police said, adding that driver of the vehicle fled from the spot.

The locals set the bus ablaze and resorted to traffic jam on the Unnao-Safipur road, police said.

When a police team reached the spot the protesters turned their ire towards them. They indulged in stone pelting.

However, later, the situation became normal.
