Youth killed after being hit by Army vehicle in Kashmir

A youth was killed today after being hit by an Army vehicle in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, police said.

Owais Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Ghasipora village, was hit by an Army vehicle at Wanpoh, 70 kms from here, this afternoon, a police spokesman said.

Sheikh, who suffered critical injuries in the accident, was rushed to SMHS hospital here but succumbed to injuries.

Police has registered a case and started investigations, the spokesman said.
