Youth killed in accident

"The truck, which was on its way to Kashmir, hit a Jammu-bound motorcyle on the highway at Golden gate area in Kathua district and the motorcyle was thrown away," a police official said.

Vijay Gupta (25) was killed on the spot and Sunil Kumar, 22 is hospitalised with serious injuries.

A case has been registered and the driver of the truck Assadullah of Ananatnag district of South Kashmir has been arrested.
