A 22-year-old man was killed after a cooking gas cylinder exploded at his tin-shed house at Nandi Medaram village here, police said today.
The incident took place last night around 10:30 PM under Dharmaram police limits, nearly 50 kms from here killing one Chamanthula Anjaiah, said Dharmaram Sub Inspector G Laxminarayana.
Another person, identified as Vikram sustained injuries in the blast after the fire spread to a nearby house, police said.
The body of Anjaiah, who was employed as a crane operator has been sent to Peddapalli government hospital for post mortem and further probe is on, police added.
