Youth shot at by miscreants

A 25-year-old man was allegedly shot at by two unidentified persons here today, police said.

Atindra Pal was attacked this morning by two motorcycle borne men in Chhani locality who shot two rounds at him, Joint City Police Commissioner D J Patel said.

He said from preliminary investigations it appears that Pal was assaulted due to some personal animosity.

After failure of the first round, the miscreants shot another round injuring the victim on his leg, following which he was taken to a nearby hospital.
