Zac Efron's 'We Are Your Friends' to release in August

Actor Zac Efron-starrer upcoming Warner Bros film "We Are Your Friends" will open on August 28 this year.

The Max Joseph-directed drama is set in the world of DJing, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Efron, 27, stars as Cole, an aspiring 23-year-old DJ trying to make it in the LA electronic music scene.

Model-actress Emily Ratajkowski, who appeared in "Gone Girl", co-stars alongside Wes Bentley.

Studiocanal, which financed the film, is distributing in France, the UK, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.
