Zinc, lead gain on good offtake

Zinc and lead prices gained at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockist buying amid good offtake from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, select copper and brass edged-up owing to better demand from consumer industries.
The industrial metal continued its rise at the LME, underpinned by a weaker dollar against the euro and steady buying from top consumer China.

Zinc climbed by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 161 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 158.
Lead moved-up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 134 from Rs 132.
Copper armature, copper utensils scrap, copper sheet cutting, brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting all inched-up by a Re per kg to Rs 482, Rs 457, Rs 476, Rs 344, and Rs 355.
