NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India has allowed imports of 300,000 tonnes of raw sugar at the country's southern ports at 25 percent import tax, the government said in a statement on Thursday, as production fell below the consumption level in the 2016/17 marketing year ending on Sept. 30.
